OASIS OF LOVE AND MIRACLES

ABOUT US

Mandate of the Organization

Our organization exists to provide holistic psychological and spiritual support to Black immigrant communities and Black Canadians, grounded in faith and cultural understanding. We are committed to offering free counselling services to individuals navigating mental health challenges, grief, and social adversity, including cultural shock, loss, isolation, racial prejudice, stereotyping, and substance abuse. Through compassionate care, advocacy, and community engagement, we strive to restore dignity, resilience, and hope among those we serve, primarily in Alberta and Ontario, with a vision to expand our reach across Canada.

Vision of the Organization

To be a beacon of healing, faith, and empowerment for Black Canadians and immigrants across the nation. We envision a Canada where every Black individual, regardless of origin or circumstance, has access to culturally informed psychological and spiritual support, enabling them to thrive emotionally, spiritually, and socially. Through our ministry and outreach, we strive to build inclusive communities rooted in compassion, justice, and the transformative power of faith.

Service Offering

We provide free, culturally informed psychological and spiritual counselling to Black Canadians and Black immigrant communities. Our services are rooted in faith and compassion, addressing mental health challenges and grief stemming from cultural shock, bereavement, social isolation, ethnocentrism, racial prejudice, stereotyping, and substance abuse. Through one-on-one support, ministry outreach, and community engagement, we offer a safe space for healing, resilience, and spiritual renewal.

Brief History

Founded in November 2020, our organization emerged in response to the urgent need for faith-based mental health and spiritual support within Black communities in Canada. Born out of compassion and conviction, we began as a grassroots initiative and have since grown into a trusted source of healing and empowerment. Our journey reflects the strength of our community and the transformative power of faith-led service.
